7th Grade Fierceness

I'll admit, I'm a bookworm. I read anything with words - cereal boxes, those quotes on Starbucks cups, the ads on Muni... But besides Gossip Girl I've also been following another series. The Clique Series It caught my eye a few years ago when I spied its plaid cover with gossiping girls on the front. Mmm.. gossip... This series by Lisi Harrison features this topnotch posse of four females - Massie Block, Alicia Rivera, Dylan Marvil & Kristen Gregory. They run their school & wear the best brands - Prada, Miu Miu, etc. Tell me why they're already hobbling down their school halls in the latest heels? Um, when I was 12 I thought the best shoes were Nike AF1's. Their little social bubble bursts when Orlando-native Claire Lyons comes into the picture. Not exactly the most stylish crayon in the box - overall-clad, overgrown bangs, & candy feen. But she's a sweetheart. This series has become such a hit they've made it into a movie! If these photos don't convince you of their fierceness, then shooot, don't bother to read the blog anymore! Joke joke joke!

Really, though. They look young (they're 12 for crying out loud) but they certainly epitomize fierce. If you like to read, I highly recommend the series no matter what age you are! If you prefer to not then watch the movie! Comes to DVD November 18 -- the day after my birthday *cough cough weeze. If they look incredibly annoying but you love fashion, then watch it on mute. :]

Is that too much to ask for?!

So basically I've been wanting a bike ever since I failed my first driver's test. How cutie is this one though? I love beach cruisers, they're so classic. Plus you can easily spot them from far away because of the details. When I hit college everyone had a cruiser! So my want, rather NEED, grew. This one is $205. There are cheapers one, I'll keep searching too. But a cute beach cruiser bike is all I want, is that too much to ask for? hah.

So I don't have T-Mobile, I have Sprint which is like the best kept secret amongst phone carriers because I always have service. But that's not my point! T-Mobile is unleashing a new phone. It's not a super phone - that's the iPhone. No, it's a super super phone! Da da-da-daa! T-Mobile G1! Touchscreen & a keypad. Honestly, it's the best of both worlds. If a daddy iPhone loved a mommy Blackberry & well, yaaanoe, they would make this bad boy. Equipped with Google search & maps, 3G network & WiFi access, the necessities IM/text/email, 3.2 megapixel cam, Youtube(!!!), etc etc etc. And that's not the end of it. These badboys come in black, bronze, & white!


So you lucky T-Mobilers, watch out for the G1. I rate it a must-have. It's stylish & has everything you need. I can only wait & see if Sprint comes out with a similar model...

Feeling Sicky.

Boo! I'm feeling sicky right now. I think it's because of the culmination of stress, a gross lunch, and weird weather. Anyways, I wanted to blog about my obsessions/faves right now. Let the image heavy post commence!

Lanie Alabanza, helloo creator of Hellz Bellz. Fellow Filipina too. Girl is hella fierce right now. Innovative designs that represents a generation of young women making a killing right now. She's the definition of a fierce female making a name for herself.blogtv.com, Lauren and I swear by this everytime we want to hear good music. Basically it's a live broadcast of people and then you can chat or what not along with the person who is broadcasting. My faves are: Gabe Bondoc, Passion, Summer Breeze, and John John.
Native Guns. Good ass hip-hop music, straight up. These Filipinos be killin' it when they're on the mic. Their latest album, I scream bars for children, is ill! And the title is pretty raw too!
Razor Scooters, we all had one at some point in our childhood right?! Well when I went to college I thought it was a little dorky when I would see college kids riding one to class. But finally when I was riding one it made so much more sense. Getting around faster. Racing your friends (ahemLAURENahem). Trying to hold a drink in one hand while scooting with the other. Totally worth the dork factor.Coach Legacy Perfume. Beautiful smell. It's flowery but not overpowering. Loving the smell and the fact that I finally found a decent perfume that doesn't make me gag. Copped a sample when I went to the Coach store for my mom's birthday gift. Tried it out for a day. From there I was sold.
Missbehavemag.com Fierceness in a blog (besides this one of course.) There is only one place near my house that I know sells their magazine, so you better believe that I'm there picking up the latest issue. Other than that I get my daily dose at their blog, duh.
Red Lipstick. Mostly MAC brand. MAC in general has always been my fave cosmetics line. Daily Look: Mineralize foundation, Blushbaby powder blush, and Graphblack eyeliner. But my current obsession is red lipstick. MAC red or Brave red is the way to go!

Nails did!

Heyrrr! (if you haven't gone yet, hulu.com/snl. 'nuff said.)

Anyways, I just wanted to post pictures of some of my nails that epitomizes 'fierce.' That was a little braggy but just wait and see. Right now I'm' sporting square nails (eh! I prefer round) and black tips on gel. Most of them I do myself, but others I get hooked up at the local nail salon. Most of these pictures were taken with my phone, you can probably tell. Yeah so?! Ok let the fierceness ensue:CLEAN! I have this love for diamonds. Well duh, diamonds are a girl's best friend! This was the cleanest I can get it. White polish, black line polish. Gel round nails, duh. I kept these nails on for a good week before it got effed up. All good, loving the symmetry
though!This was the last time I had square nails (besides right now!). They're a teal nail polish with dark purple zebra stripes and a white line at the base of the design. I liked how i did more than tips but not the whole nail. It made my nails look extra long! FEROCIA?! Yes ma'am!
Not the best picture in the world, I know. But how sick right?! Arizona green tea bottle inspired nails. Aqua base with a white flower (should have been pink! ohwell) and black stems. I love Arizona Green Tea. And I love getting my nails did! It's the best of both worlds!

J-j-j-jenny & the Bets!

Why is it that every time I watch Gossip Girl I feel like I'm gonna piss? Everything's super intense. But if any of you ever miss it, we are here to save you! Recap, anyone?

So Jenny decided to give herself a supaa azin (^_^) haircut. Which I guess is supposed to come off as "rocker." Black eyeliner is her new thang-thang this episode. At "work" aka her weak ass internship, a client from Bloomies comes into the office to look at Eleanor Waldorf's new line & ends up falling in love with Jenny's dress. Oooh shocker. So Jenny promises to spend the night recreating the dress for Barney's & Bendel's. What does she do instead? She gets caught up with devilmodel Agnus. Like, really? Agnus? Ok, I'll stop. So the party hard & the whole time this creeper photog Max is taking pictures. Like literally the whole time. You'd think he's a Japanese tourist but he kinda resembles Travyy from Gym Class Heroes. The next day at work, Eleanor disses Jenny's dress so Jenny gets all bad ass & takes the dress (the green dress rocked down the catwalk). Then goes to party again with weirdo duo Agnus&Max. During this whole time, new big bro figure, Nate, is worried for Jenny & goes to Max's apartment only to find Jenny&Agnus dancing in their bras. Nate wisks her off being all knight in shining armor & all. Then guess what, they kiss. Like passionate, head grabbing, middle of the sidewalk in NYC kiss.

So that's just Jenny's story. What's up with Serena&Dan? They try out this new friends thing & Serena tries to get Dan to help Blair with Chuck. Yeah. So it's obvs that Dan's falling for Serena again but she's all "Oh, is it cool if I go on a date with Aaron Rose?" -- the artist at Dan's dad's art gallery. In the book series, Aaron is Blair's step-brother & he's a herbal-cigarette, dreadlocked hippie. But in the show he's this artsy-fartsy guy who went to camp with Serena. However when Serena tries to find Aaron he already moved on to motorcycle girl (for lack of a better name.) Yeah, Serena. You should've just gazed deeply into Dan's eyes & realized that he wants you. Pscha. And Blair&Chuck? They are so effing stubborn that they won't give up the game. Now their scenes are so intense that I fail to describe in words. You want to cry with Blair & you want to walk away with Chuck. That intense.

I'll get better at these recaps, promise. Besides, it's the third blog! Gimme a break. I'm a newbie. :)

Due to my self-instilled 10 o'clock bedtime I miss the good shows like Sex & the City re-runs and of course, Paris Hilton's My New Bff! So me&Ange were talking on the phone & gushing about Onch. So, I'm all "You know, if things don't work out with Paris he can totally be our bff!" And she's all "Oh, you didn't watch it?" Then I knew that he was gone!!! I finally watched the re-run (twice). Poor Onchy. Did Paris really wanna keep Corie?! Where'd she get plastic surgery -- like everywhere? Peep those eyebrows, nose & boobs. Right now I'm rooting for Brittany. She's super cute when her hair's not eating her face. Yeah?


What a cutie! She's a winner. Anyway, Onchy, you can definitely be ILA's new bff. You won't have to go on roller coaster rides, make ridic commercials, and you definitely won't have to tuck in. You're a girlboy & that's waaaaay enough for us. :] TTYN, Paris & helloooo Onchy!

Welcome to our blog. We are the ILA sisters. Ingrid Lauren & Ange. We decided to create this blog, like... yesterday. :] Just a little background on us. We all went to high school together -- an all girl's catholic high school to be exact. Stayed solid each year & senior year it literally came down to the three of us. Now we're in college, 1 of us at USF & the other 2 at SJSU. But distance ain't nothing. This blog will prove it! We'll be covering interests, lifestyle, & advice. Sounds boring but trust me it's far from that. We're ridiculously funny, the three of us all together.

I'm gonna be a boss, guys. I just am. Since my girls are at SJSU I busy myself with blogs, vlogs, & shopping. I've been with my bf since I was 12 so I'd love to say we're pretty solid. I love wearing his clothes & sleeping in his comfy bed. Another love of my life is vintage. My favorite movie is Grease & I wish someone would take me back to those times so I could chill with the Pink Ladies, have a letter-man jacket wearing boyfriend, canoodle at Lover's Lane then dance the night away. Real dancing, not all this grind up on a guy's goodie spot that goes on at all these clubs. But since I'm in this time era I'll settle. I also love Sex & the City and Gossip Girl. I watch ridiculous amounts of TV & I want to be an event specialist. So let's partyy!

Lauren Nicole: mmk, I'm Lauren Nicole. The youngest of the ILA sisters born on December 1st, obviously the "L" in the group, duh. Funny 'coz we're all less than a month apart in birthdays. WOW i just realized that. Anyways, I'm a Mechanical Engineer major at San Jose State University, with a minor in Jed Diaz at UC Berkeley, my boyfriend. We've been on and off since my junior year, making me 16. Gettin that ring, so its official that I'm taken. I love to sing and dance [and cap on people.] omgeez, I think I need to stop talkin so much sh-- about people tho, karma mann. skinnys, vans/jordans/cute heels, graphic/solid tee, dress up when I feel like looking cute for my man or just a night out with the girls. family oriented and i la la la loove my puppy, Nala Nutella (pronounced: nah luh nuh tuh luh). amature skateboarder, and i loove laughing while i try to do an ollie (ange knows what im talking about!). I miss my sissuh, Ingrid to the max, while I stay laughing my butt off with Ange at the apartment, at school, stealing scooters, or hanging out on our bench in the common area. Basically, ILA sisters run deep from USF to SJSU all day, everyday. You mess with one of them, you gotta deal with ME coz I'm the brat of the sissuhs.
